Luxury Wedding Flowers, Styled to Last

Calling all Wedding Planners !

There’s nothing quite like a wedding to remind you how quickly the little details add up. After our Son’s wedding in January where they spent a jaw-dropping $5,000 on fresh and faux flowers, we had a moment of clarity: surely there had to be a beautiful, more budget-friendly way for other couples to celebrate their day without sacrificing style.

That’s how Something Borrowed Blooms was born.

This little family-fuelled idea centers on hiring stunning faux floral arrangements — each one lovingly handmade by my nephew’s wife for their own wedding last November. They’re elegant, timeless, and designed to photograph beautifully, giving brides the look and feel of fresh florals without the hefty price tag.

At its heart, this is about helping couples start married life with a little less financial pressure and a lot more breathing room. Weddings should feel joyful, not overwhelming — and if we can play a small part in that, we’re happy.

For now, I’ll be helping grow bookings, spreading the word, and storing and supplying the arrangements from home. The long-term dream is simple: build it up and hand it back to a family member to enjoy and grow — keeping the love (and the savings) circulating.

So if you — or someone you know — is planning a wedding, now’s the perfect time to take a look. Dates will fill, and these blooms deserve to be part of many more special days.
